My Story
The Human Balance was created from a genuine understanding of how overwhelming life can feel at times. My journey into mental health didn’t just come from training, it came from lived experience. Growing up, I faced challenges that shaped how I understood emotions, safety, and what it means to cope. For a long time, things felt difficult to manage, and I often felt different from others. Through my work in mental health, and my training as a CBT therapist, and working for a service that specialised in the stabilisation of trauma symptoms for adults impacted by childhood trauma, I began to understand those experiences in a new way. I learned that what the big explosions of feelings were and more importantly, that things could change. The Human Balance was built to offer the kind of support I know truly makes a difference- compassionate, practical, and grounded in real understanding.

Commitment to Wellbeing
My belief is that wellbeing isn’t about being happy all the time, it’s about feeling more in control, more balanced, and better able to navigate life’s challenges. I offer a safe, non-judgemental space where you can begin to understand your experiences, at your own pace. My commitment is to provide support that feels human, personalised, and genuinely helpful — not overwhelming or clinical. Whether you’re feeling stuck, burnt out, or struggling with the impact of past experiences, you will be met with understanding, compassion, and care.
